Overview
Milk Deco supplies a unique contemporary range of baby furniture designed by Candice Brophy of CB Designs. She studied Architecture at Wits University and when she became a mother she saw that there was a gap in the market for modern, functional and eco friendly baby furniture. And so she began designing!
Milk Deco strives on its designs being unique and in line with international standards. We want to create unique nurseries that are baby friendly, affordable and that parents enjoy, since they will be the ones spending a reasonable amount of time in them! We also do our best to create 'green' designs that are environmentally friendly!
The Beeno cot is simple and beautiful. This unique cot design is sleek and aesthetically pleasing for any nursery. The soft curve cradles baby while he sleeps. The curves alleviate harsh corners that baby could get hurt on whilst crawling around his room. One less thing for mom to worry about! The base is adjustable to 3 different levels and can be utilized from birth to 3 years. This cot is available in a variation of colours/wood combinations to suite any nursery theme.
The Zira cot offers ample storage space for a smaller room. This clever cot design incorporates both the crib and compactum into one unit. This frees up more floor space for baby to play on! There is ample storage under the changing table in the form of alternating shelves and drawers for wet wipes, nappies, creams etc. A changing matt can be put onto the top of the drawers.
And there is added drawer storage under the crib for toys which ensures a clutter free baby room. And will give you the space to add a feeding chair to a smaller room without it looking cramped. The use of a dark walnut wood and a white gloss finish gives this cot a fresh look with clean lines. The Zira cot will be on display at the expo.
Our scribbler toddler table set incorporates a flush chalk board top so that your little one can have hours of fun with out wasting sheets of paper. It can also be used as an activity table and at meal times.
The Cono toddler bed is a funky design which has soft corners. Toddlers love to jump and climb so we want to ensure they can do this safely on their bed without getting scratches from sharp corners. Toddlers also love story time so we have incorporated shelving into the sides of the head board. Thus making books easily accessible at bed time for mom and dad as well as for your toddler to page through any time they wish.
Our Mimi Range is sleek and minimalist. The base is adjustable to 3 different levels and we have a matching Mimi compactum.
All of our furniture gets custom made, from the highest quality products, to order. We have 4 colours available: Sky Blue, Rose Pink, Citrus Orange and Lime Green which are used as accent colours with white. We also have a walnut veneer option available. We require a 50% deposit and the remaining 50% 1 day before delivery.
New Linen Range:
We currently have 2 ranges (Baa Baa Black Sheep and Dandelions) with another 3 (Whimsical range, helicopter range and contemporary circles range) to be launched soon. Our linen is 300 thread count 100% pure white cotton with theme details embroided onto the linen.
We offer Duvet covers, duvet inners (both synthetic down and goose down), pillow cases, pillows (both synthetic down and goose down), fitted sheets, flat sheets, mattress protector, breathable mattress, bumper covers and bumper inners. Ensuring that all your baby linen requirements are met and are all of an extremely high quality!
We also sell the following:
Mobiles: to match our linen themes. You can either have a 2 disk hanging mobile or a 4 disk wall mounted mobile.
Handmade stuffed felt toys: to decorate your nursery. Our elephant is our first addition to this new and exciting range!
Hand knitted baby blankets: in mono tones, knitted in contemporary styles using soft baby wool. Colours on offer are blue, pink, green and grey.
Delivery
Our delivery cost is R500 for anywhere in Gauteng and includes the setting up of 1 item. If a cot and compactum is ordered with shelving than additional R100 per extra item will be charged for. Thus the delivery cost would be R700 for these 3 items including setting up.
Please note we supply breathable mattresses for all our cots and the crib.
