What is UIF Maternity Benefits?:
In terms of Section 24, expectant mothers are entitled to benefits during the period of pregnancy and delivery as prescribed by the UIF (Maximun of 4 months).
Categories of workers not covered by the scope of the ACT workers working less than 24 hours a month for an employer; learners; public servants; Foreigners working on contract; workers who get a monthly State (old age) pension; or workers who only earn commission.
