Overview

Our Comprehensive First Aid and Childcare Programme aims to educate and enpower your nanny, domestic worker, au pair, child minder or babysitter. It gives them the knowledge to confidently care for your child, and arms them with the tools to respond quickly in emergency situations.

1. First Aid and CPR Module

Learn practical skills and be able to administer CPR on an adult, child or infant and attend to all aspects of first aid, for example, burns, bleeding, poison, drowning, choking and what to do in an emergency situation.

2. Childcare Module:

• Issues such as crying, sleeping, bathing, holding, feeding etc.
  
• Child safety, including safety around the home, personal safety and emergency situations.
  
• The importance of hygiene in the home and on a personal level.
  
• A nutrition programme endorsed and recommended by a leading paediatric dietitian.
  
• Age appropriate stimulation and development

Note: Our First Aid module can be taken seperately on request.

Bookings are available one-on-one, in your own home, or group sessions at our various training centres. We also offer in-house training at daycares and playschools.

Our CPR and first aid programme is currently being subsidised by Cape Town Medi Clinic as part of their quality care, community based programme . The course is usually R300 p/p and is being offered by the hospital at R220 p/p . Bookings are done directly through Daniele Milner 084 593 2314 / danola@mweb.co.za. The courses run on selected Wednesdays and Saturdays.
