Celebrate the love for your child at Time Together (Moms & Toddlers Activity Centre) in picturesque Hout Bay!

Run weekly, by dedicated, experienced facilitators, you and your baby/toddler are guided through 3 fun, interactive, programmes, encouraging focused attention between mother and child. This facilitates your expression of unconditional love and fosters your child’s feelings of security and confidence.

6-12 months:
Share fun activities with balls, music, exercises and language development.

1-2 years:
Enjoy tactile and creative play, development of gross and fine motor skills, and fun-filled music time together.

2-4 years:
Prepare for play school by developing your toddler’s independence, confidence and social skills.

Our unique, age-appropriate programmes cover all learning areas

Each session includes outside time for clambering on jungle gyms, swinging, sand and water play, and a lively, social, snack time. Tactile (touch) and kinesthetic (movement) input are the most important sensory channels for learning up to two years of age. Time Together gives your child the opportunity to experiment, explore, and experience various age-appropriate activities, in a prepared, enriched environment, individually and as part of a group.

The 8 or 9 week terms consist of scheduled classes, during which mums are encouraged to meet other mothers, ask relevant questions, and seek advice. Time Together also aims to help mothers feel fulfilled through socialisation with other mums. Many life-long friendships have been born out of our programmes.

Parents are invited to attend talks on appropriate baby/toddler related topics, and First Aid Courses. The sale of educational books and toys is arranged periodically, as well as photographs capturing special moments at Time Together.

A toddler’s early years’ of development can be extremely challenging. Time Together aims to help you treasure this time with your little one by giving you support and encouragement to help you do life’s most important job - to love your child unconditionally and have lots of fun!
