- How many people you would like to book for
- Contact information for all those who you are purchasing a ticket for
Once correspondence has been entered into, a confirmation email which outlines your booking, the amount due, the Baby Sense bank details as well as your specific payment reference, will be sent to you via email. Please ensure that you are communicating using your most frequently used email address.

Online Booking
You will be able to make a booking online through the Baby Sense Seminars shop website: http://www.babysense.co.za/seminars
Will the exhibitors be selling their products?
Exhibitors will be showcasing as well as some selling their products on the day of the seminar. If a particular exhibitor is not selling their product, they will take your contact details on the day so that they may follow up with you after the day of the seminar re the purchase of their product or service. Preferably bring cash to the seminar so that you may purchase products should you want to. Specific exhibitors will have a credit card machine for your convenience, however, it cannot be guaranteed that all exhibitors will.
What food and drink will be served?
Canapé style finger food will be served as snacks during the morning and afternoon session tea breaks; specifically at 10h15am and at 15h15pm. Tea, coffee, water and juice will be served at these times too. There is no additional cost. The breaks are each 30 minutes in duration. However, should you be attending more than one seminar or workshop and would like lunch between the sessions you will be able to purchase a meal from the hotel restaurants. This will be for your own account. Alternatively you can bring your own lunch.
May we bring our babies/children to the seminar? Are there nannies to look after the babies?
Baby Sense will have an au pair company on board at each of the seminar venues, offering the valuable services of nannies to help you look after your babies, whilst you are listening to the talks. There will be a nappy changing facility as well as a facility for you to be able to breast-feed your baby inside the au pair/baby room. Although there will be a nanny service, if you are able to leave your baby at home, it is advisable as babies can be a distraction to other moms throughout the duration of the talks and you will be asked to take your baby outside should this occur.
Please would you provide a map to the venue?
Please click here for maps to the venues.
Will there be parking at the seminar venue?
For Durban and Port Elizabeth the parking is free.
Cape Town you will need to park in the CTICC, which will be for your own account. We do not provide paid parking.
Johannesburg you will need to park in the Maslow Hotel parking which is for your own account. We do not provide paid parking.
Do we need to bring the ticket to the seminar?
Yes, you will need to bring the ticket with you to the seminar. Please would you ensure that you print the ticket beforehand and that you have it ready to show the registration staff on your arrival? Your ticket will have a unique ticket number and identifies you as an authorized guest to the Baby Sense seminar.
When is the booking cut off date?
Unless the seminar venue is sold out, you will be able to purchase tickets up to the close of business on the Thursday of the week of the seminar. Please try and book as early as possible as venues do book out due to limited amount of tickets and Baby Sense cannot accommodate additional guests above the capacity limit. Please refer to the Baby Sense website or facebook page to check if seats for the seminar are still available.
Do husbands attend the seminars?
Yes, husbands do attend the seminars. The seminars are not strictly suited for mothers and mothers to be. The Baby Sense seminars serve as a valuable information source for both parents and parents to be. Should your husband wish to attend, please purchase a ticket for him too.
Can I pay for the ticket with cash on the day?
You will need to make a payment prior to the seminar as this payment secures your ticket and place at the seminar. If you do not make payment within the 5 working days from time of booking, your booking will fall away and the space will be given to someone else wishing to purchase a ticket or on the waiting list. If your booking is a last minute booking (the Thursday before the seminar) and you are unable to do an EFT or a bank deposit within the 2 days before the seminar, an exception may be granted in order to allow for you to pay cash on the day. You will need to bring the exact amount of cash due and will need to make the payment on arrival, with the registration staff.
